Clover by Clove and Hallow Review
I am sharing my unfiltered review of the Clover by ...
As a professional makeup artist, I always strive to use the best products on my clients. However, I am also passionate about using cruelty-free and vegan makeup in my kit. That’s why I was excited to try out some products from Pacifica, a brand that is committed to creating high-quality makeup without harming animals or the environment.
In this post, I will be sharing my Pacifica haul and my thoughts on each product after testing them out. I purchased the SunDreams creamy bronzer, Dreamlit Glow concealer, Vegan Collagen Lip plumping gloss, Vegan Collagen lash primer with serum, and the Fluffy Lash mascara. I will be giving you a first impression review of each item and how it performed. (I’ll close out the post with my updated, unfiltered opinions.)
Not only is Pacifica’s commitment to being cruelty-free and vegan important to me, but their dedication to sustainability is also noteworthy. I appreciate a brand that cares about the impact they have on the environment and takes steps to reduce their carbon footprint. Plus, with their wide range of products, there is something for everyone’s makeup needs.
Here’s a look at my Pacifica Haul and first impressions of the products:

Final (Updated, Unfiltered) Review of my Pacifica Haul
The Pacifica Vegan Collagen Fluffy Lash Thickening & Lengthening Mascara was true to its word and didn’t irritate my eyes! I’ll admit, though I am still using it for personal use, it’s not my favorite. It is a nice lengthening formula, but I personally prefer more volumizing formulas. If you are someone who loves lengthening mascaras, you may consider trying this one out!
I tried the Pacifica Vegan Collagen Conditioning Lash Serum & Primer with some other cruelty-free and vegan mascaras that I know I love (like Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes and Too Faced Better than Sex). It worked very well to give a little extra boost and volume. This one is definitely a new personal favorite for daily use and though I haven’t yet, I can see buying one to live in my professional makeup kit, too.
The Pacifica Dreamlit Glow Concealer is not great for actually concealing any dark circles or blemishes, but it is great a highlighting. The trick to making this work is using a fuller coverage concealer as a base layer, and then using this on top to highlight specific areas of the face, such as under the eyes, the center of the forehead, and the cupid’s bow. Because it is so thin, yet hydrating, it layers well and doesn’t cake up. As with any concealer, just be sure to set it with a powder!
On to the Pacifica Vegan Collagen Lip Plumping Gloss. This one is just fine. It is nourishing for dry lips. The tingle from the plumping formula is very light, but the result of the plumping may be even lighter. This isn’t something I will be adding to my professional kit, and I’m not sure that I would purchase it again, other than the fact I just love the Pacificia brand and appreciate that I know any product I pick up from the brand will be cruelty free and vegan.
If you watched the above video, you already know that I quickly became a huge fan of the Pacifica Sun Dreams Creamy Bronzer & Contour. I added it to my makeup kit immediately. The shade, Sandy Kiss, is pretty light, so I’ll be looking at add more colors to my kit in order to have a shade that works for every skin tone.
Overall, my Pacifica haul was a delightful experience. Not only did I discover some new cruelty-free and vegan makeup options, but I also had a blast testing them out. As a makeup artist who values ethical and sustainable choices, I am thrilled to add some of these products to my kit and share them with my clients and with you! With Pacifica, I know I can create stunning looks while staying true to my values.
